Note From The Author
Hi, I’m Luana Franco, author of the Conjurer’s Prophecy trilogy, a Christian dark fantasy series that delves into ancient prophecies, spiritual battles, and the power of hope in the face of darkness. At its heart, it’s a story of redemption, courage, and the choices that shape our destiny.
The trilogy immerses readers in a richly atmospheric world filled with complex characters, hidden truths, and the intricate threads of a prophecy that could determine the fate of all. It blends fast-paced action with moments of deep reflection, exploring themes of faith, resilience, and the unseen forces that guide our lives.
I wrote this series to inspire young adults, offering them more than just a story—a legacy of imagination, values, and encouragement. As a mother, I wanted to create a world where belief and bravery light the way, even in the darkest of times.
Readers call it thought-provoking and thrilling—a journey that lingers long after the final page.
When the end draws near, will you stand and fight for what truly matters?
The Passion for Role Playing Games
From Dungeons & Dragons to Vampire - The Masquerade, table Role Playing Games made a big part of L.S. Franco's life growing up.
Her favorite Vampire clan used to be the Ravnos, known for being good illusionists, with the Chimerstry discipline - unique to the clan. She used to play with the 2nd edition of Vampire - The Masquerade, and the Dark Ages books.
The Chimerstry from the Ravnos was the inspiration for L.S. Franco's "Illusio" in the Downtown-Verse, a power common to mages and druids.
Illusio is the ability to do tricks that affect others' perception of things. It can be as low as changing the color of a shirt, or what’s written on a book cover, to someone's eyes. With a moderate level of illusio, the person can alter the perception of a group of people about an object, or some objects. With a higher level of illusio, a person can hold the illusion for hours, and affect all creatures in a radius of 10 feet. Illusio Magna is the most powerful level of illusio, and rarest, where a person can alter a big part of the present reality to all living beings in a radius of dozens of miles, holding the illusion for days.
Illusio is a a key power in book 2 - The Oberon Stone - on a fantastic demonstration from one of L.S. Franco's favorite characters, that is a rare Magna on the power.
In D&D, she constantly played with an elf, as she liked their high senses and perception. Her favorite weapon was a longbow. In the pictures on the right, one can see a drawing from her character Linnery, from 2003.
